I am going to New York in April for my honeymoon and I cannot wait. 6 days of bliss. I just love fashion and shopping and finding new things. The street fashion from fashion week was fabulous!! Living in Belfast and being heavily tattooed and having my own individual style gets people staring at me quite a bit haha, so to be going to New York City where the fashion is so unique and different will just be amazing! I am what I say, "triple excited"
Some people thought the Oscar Hair wasn't fancy enough but to me the less fussy hair was the best. Less is definitely more sometimes. Here are some of my favourites.
Jessica Chastain's hair was so soft and natural and complimented for Alexander McQueen's Dress perfectly! I loved Gwyneth Paltrow's Tom Ford dress and cape. The simplicity of the hair was beautiful and goes to prove you don't have to over do the "do" :)
Bridesmaid actress Kristen Wiig rocked her soft loose curls and it really showed off her new brunette colouring perfectly! I just love the simply big blow dry Angelina Jolie went for on Oscar Day. Especially after her leg took all the limenight ;) The gorgeous Milla Jovovich - Her hair is soft and beautiful and not too set looking which I love! The hair jewels in Kate Mara's hair are just beautiful and I love the elegant sweep that joins the curl behind the ear. Well, this lady is just gorgeous! Rooney Mara totally rocks her short fringe and th…
Well what can I say about the Oscars this year? The styling and hair and make-up had everyone talking. Some bad, some good. But the beautiful Milla Jovovich blew me away. Her stylist gets a big fat 10/10 from me. Her Elie Saab Couture dress came straight off the runway and fitted Milla perfectly. Her accessories didn't outshine her dress and the hair and make-up complimented the look perfectly. It was by far my favourite outfit from the Oscars this year. straight from the catwalk! stunning back view of the dress hair & make-up perfect

Follow my blog if you like hair and fashion. I love my job and am thankful every day that I get to make peoples hair pretty for a living. When I'm not in the salon working I'm on location doing shoots and it really is the best feeling ever! I love when you get the photographs back and get to see all your hard work in print. When I got the front cover of the Northern Ireland's Wedding Journal last year, it really was one of my proudest moments.
Walking into the store and seeing my work on the front cover was a magazine was so surreal and maybe one day I will get to grace the cover of Vogue or Dazed and Confused - well a girl can dream! Bye for now - xo
For me Kate Bosworth at the Burberry Prorsum was my best dressed.
I love owls and thought her look was not only young and fun but so wearable. It mixed sophistication with quirky perfectly! I am going to copy this look and make my own from the high street. I am very excited to be going to London this weekend. I will be shopping and making my own version of all my favourites from London and New York Fashion Week. Below is the link to the whole feature on the Vogue website. Hope you like / love looking at everyones looks as much as I did - xo http://www.vogue.co.uk/spy/celebrity-photos/2012/02/09/fashion-week-best-dressed/gallery
Well! What can I say about this collection? Henry Holland has outshone himself! Like Marmite you either love him or hate him. I hate marmite but LOVE House of Holland's crazy creative don't care who looks at me attitude to clothes. This collection is not only fun but totally wearable at the same time. I don't think I could pick a favourite from this collection. I loved it all. Especially the onesy, although camel toe watch would definitely be at the top of your agenda that day haha.

I was lucky enough to be asked to assist in a shoot for the amazingly talented photographer Erin Elizabeth Kelly last month and work with the brilliant make-up artist Rachel Weir. My boss and hair stylist David Smyth of Blue Hairdressing asked me to assist him and of course I jumped at the chance and said YES!!! Erin scouted the model Alexis on a random day out and she worked so hard on the shoot and was just effortlessly beautiful.
I hope you like looking at the images as much as I LOVED working on this shoot. Full shoot to follow soon - xo
