Perfect Hair , Perfect Wedding Hair

Anytime of the year you want to have amazing, glossy, healthy hair but on the day of your wedding you want it to look stunning! Getting regular trims and conditioning treatments are a must anyways to keep your hair in the best possible condition. Obviously if you colour your hair with high-lift tints or bleaching this is even more important as colouring removes natural pigment and shine from your hair. There are plenty of home conditioning treatments and products you can use in-between Salon appointments.
I absolutely LOVE Philip Kingsley's Elasticizer.

Philip Kingsley originally created elasticizer for movie queen Audrey Hepburn. Its a pre-shampoo intensive moisturizing treatment that delivers elasticity, bounce and shine to hair with an added UV protection even after washing. One very important fact is you Do NOT use Elasticizer for THREE days before and THREE days after chemical processing.

It's all about nail art!

As always, I LOVE my nails by the fab Stephanie from Angel Face, Ballyhackamore, Belfast. She never fails to amaze me. Midnight blue sparkle 3week gel polish and Stephanie hand drew the bow tie and buttons. I am in love with them. Check out her website or more information. Xo

Red Valentino - NYC Ready to Wear Collection

If you know me, you will know that I live in a dream world and my own little bubble. It's great ha ha. Everything is a bit weird and strange, just like me. I love anything quirky, sparkly and a wee bit girlie.

This is why, when I came across the Red Valentino Collection I got a little too excited, ha ha. The whole collection is AMAZING and I would wear EVERYTHING in it! Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli who design for Valentino ROCK! Together, they are creative genius!

The hair is simple and clean and compliments the collection perfectly!

Here are my favourites.
Enjoy picking yours - XO

Inspired from the 40's

I was flicking through my online magazine subscription and came across this fab picture of Olivia Palermo. As always she rocks her fashion. When I seen the double brooch on her jumper I thought, I got to do that. I LOVE brooches. Then being the geek that I am, I googled searched more ideas and came across this picture of 1940's actress Carole Lombard rocking her double brooch approach to fashion. Isn't it great to see that even now, fashion from the 40's is inspiring the young fashionista's of today. Got to love it! Xo

MADE in Paris!

New York based initiative MADE who promote and help up and coming fashion designers in Manhattan decided to bring their innovative approach to Paris Fashion Week. They held a dinner with Zadig et Voltaire in one of Paris's coolest spots, the Left Bank ultra institution les deluxe magots.
Among the beautiful people invited were the beneficiaries, including the ultra stylish Olympia Le-Tan and Damir Doma. If you follow this link you can get the full scoop and pick out your own best dressed. I have included my favourites. Enjoy - xo
