The Wonderful Winter Wedding Fair

On Sunday 2nd November this year I will be taking a stand at Becky Moore's Frock Around the Clock Wedding Fair in the Europa Hotel, Belfast. I have wanted do this for some time now but have never had the confidence. I LOVE what I do but can be so shy and this year I decided to challenge myself. I started off by abseiling down the Europa Hotel for charity in September (nearly wet myself, hehe) and thought, well you know what? If you can do this you can do anything! *nervous laughs*, so I will be standing at my wee stall waiting to talk to you about all things wedding hair :) Please pop over and say hi and feel free to pick my brain about hair ideas and look through my portfolio :)
Becky has a wonderful vision for weddings and the styling she does with her daughter Kerry is beautiful. I loved creating the hair for this years winter fair flyers and promotional media. I got to work with some new faces and that is always great. Loretta and Stephen from YouThemUs Photography http://www…

Blush Bridal

Blush Boutique
I was delighted to create the hair for this years Face of Blush Campaign. It was run by the salon owner Aileen Wilson. Her shop Blush Boutique on the Lisburn Road is a high end boutique selling dresses suitable for formal wear right through to beautiful bridal dresses and headpieces. Aileen even travels to London to handpick some of her collections for the shop and caters for all ages. The girls of Blush are all friendly and welcoming and will try their hardest to find you your perfect outfit. It could be a cheeky wee number for a night out or a mother of the bride outfit to make you feel special :)

I got to work alongside makeup artist Caoimhe Curran and photographer Khara Pringle, both girls always amaze me with their natural talents. The whole shoot was styled by the fab Sarah Jayne Cassells for Cathy Martin PR. Zoe Nicholson was the lucky girl who won the campaign and got to be the model for Blush. Caoimhe and I went to her house the morning of her wedding to create…

My Simple Heart - Winter Wedding Photoshoot

I'm going to be taking part in my first ever Wedding Fair (eek, nerves) in November this year and as I have worked with Becky before and loved her and her daughter Kerry's vision, I jumped at the chance to finally be a part of their wedding fairs. I was asked to create the hair for the creative shoot for their upcoming Winter Wedding Fair. A fool would of said no, hehe. I got to work with some of the most talented peeps in Northern Ireland.
Hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed being part of the great team to create them. If you're around on Sunday 2nd November please pop into the  Europa Hotel and check everyone out.
Bye for now. See you all soon. xo

Silk & Grey = Pure Luxury & Quality

Just writing a quick blog update on the new collection by Inga Jackson for Silk & Grey. Her pieces are pure luxury and feel divine. From beautiful silk to soft cotton your skin will be in heaven. No more itchy scratchy loungewear and sleeping in uncomfortable nightdresses and pyjamas. With these pieces you will feel and look a million dollars. I was honoured to create the hair for this gorgeous collection and cannot wait for the website to be up and running so I too can own my very own pair of luxury pyjamas. I got to work with some amazing talented people including photographer Lili Forberg, videographer Michael Toman of Story of Eve and makeup artist Michelle Kinsella.

Not just loungewear, a small selection of handmade 100% cashmere pieces! Stunning, they feel like a little piece of heaven on your skin!
I'll create a proper blog update once the photos and video have been published. Just wanted to get the name Silk & Grey out there. I promise you won't be disappoint…

Irish Lingerie at its finest

At Rock the Frock in Belfast Castle I had the pleasure of meeting Irish Designer Mary Murphy, creator of Sîoda Lingerie. I've met Mary a few times now but never got to see her amazing creations. She had some pieces with her to showcase her luxurious lingerie and bridal garters. Sîoda Lingerie is pronounced 'she-o-da' and all the pieces are lovingly handmade by Mary herself and a small team of dedicated sewers.

The quality is unbelievable and would make any woman feel like a million dollars. The whole collection would be perfect for going on honeymoon and wanting to feel extra special for you and your man or woman ;) It doesn't have to be for a special occasion, it could just be because you wanted to treat yourself to some amazing lingerie. I know I will be! The cheeky silk pants are to die for and the whole garter range is refreshing.

It is lovely to see high quality materials from rouched silk tulle to silk satan so you know your garter is going to look good as wel…

Lovingly Invited

Like the name suggests, this wee blog is lovingly inviting you to check out this amazing local Northern Irish business. It's owned by the gorgeous Lynsey Lauder and offers you a totally personal and unique service. From save the date wedding cards to personalised frames for your loved ones, this wee business has it all.  I got a beautiful personalised heart in a frame made for my mum for Mother's Day and chose the words myself. I got to choose from multiple frames and shapes and it turned out fabulous. My mum really loves it, as do I. Such a personal gift to give to someone. I'll be getting one designed for my daughter also. Endless possibilities. You could create one for any occasion.

If you're getting married or know someone who is, why not step outside the box a little and get Lynsey to design your save the date cards. As you can see from the following images, they aren't just classy but so clever and witty and just that little bit different. I wish Lynsey had …
