Silk & Grey SS15

Silk & Grey - New Season

I loved creating the hair for the new collection from Silk&Grey. Their luxury silk and satin loungewear/sleepwear is devine! You can even get bespoke monogramming on your signature pyjamas, heaven!!
Their website is nearly up and running. Keep an eye out for it.
Until then you can have a nosey at their collection on their instagram account.

Beautiful Brides and Blogs

How lovely to come across a beautiful blog and then see that one of your brides is featured. Amy was such a delight and I loved creating her wedding hair. The photography is stunning. Really shows the LOVE of the day between Amy and David xo

My Top Golden Globe Nominations :)

Well, it's January and it's cold outside but inside it's been hot, hot, hot! My fire's lit, heating's on, wee cheeky glass of red and I've loved stalking my favourite celebrities to see what they have been wearing on the red carpet at this years Golden Globes, and of course what they have been doing with their hair!!  I've been loving the relaxed vibe this year. There have been some I have not liked but I'll not bore you with those! NO!, here are the ones that made me sit up and think, cool, you look fab! Inspiration has indeed come my way. I personally love the relaxed updo or soft blow-dry, so here are my favs who, to me (probably not everyone), stood out for all the right reasons :-) xo

...... and of course, we cannot forget about the boys and their amazing bow ties.  Here are my favourite men accompanied by their lovely ladies - xo

Working with your Idols

Today I got to work alongside one of my industry idols. I've had the pleasure of working with Joe McGivern since I started working from Blue Hairdressing in Belfast. I have always admired his work and talent as a session stylist but when he branched out to photography, I couldn't wait to see what he was capable of. (I was NOT disappointed) Joe's natural ability to capture movement and a sense of mood was breathtaking. He made everyone feel at ease and I was in awe of his professionalism. It was lovely to work along side Joe and bounce off his creativity. Todays shoot has really inspired me to push myself and hopefully become a better hairstylist.
Here are a few behind the scene shots from today.  We were shooting for Maureen Martin Model Management. The girls were amazing and so professional. xo

Joe sent me an email with the following image of what is to come! I was totally in LOVE! I think the image is amazing. I'm sure you'll all agree.  Models - Lauren Cowen, …

20's Inspired Creative Shoot

Please follow the link to view the lovely shoot I got to create the hair for. It's called Hand in Hand. The gorgeous couple were newly weds Gavin and Gemma who got to do the shoot with their own wedding photographers, hubby and wife team Adam & Grace of Grace Photography. Everyone involved was fabulous and talented. Xo
I'll write a proper wee blogpost soon. Just wanted to share this now. Xo
